This image of visitors walking into the aquarium from the great tide pool is one of my favorites.
In a past life I worked at two crushes at wineries where I did everything from picking grapes to sampling the fruits of the labor. The hours are long, the people are cool, the work has its rewards, and the scenery is (of course) beautiful.
I headed down the coast to one of my favorite parts of the world and once again I was stunned by the beauty. I visited the good people at the Big Sur Bakery and Restaurant. I made a portrait of baker Michelle Wojtowicz and her husband chef Philip Wojtowicz with their son Henry, 1 year. [...]
I just spent some time photographing on Cannery Row in Monterey. And I have to say that amidst the tourist attractions are some interesting folks, doing interesting things.
